Introduction

Welcome to Add Watermark ("the App"), a mobile application developed by Everyday App ("we," "us," or "our"). The App lets you add text and logo watermarks to photos from your iPhone or iPad, and export the finished image. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how the App works and how it handles information.

How the App Works

Photos and Watermarking

• You add a photo by choosing an existing image from your photo library.
• You place a watermark on the photo — either text you type or a logo image you select — and adjust its position, size, opacity, and style. All of this editing happens on your device.
• Your photos and watermarks are used only to provide the App's features. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or copied to our servers, and we never see or receive them.

Saving Your Templates

• You can save watermarks you create as reusable templates so you can apply them again later. These templates are stored in the App's private, sandboxed storage on your device.
• These templates stay on your device. You can view, edit, or delete them at any time from within the App.

Sharing and Exporting

• You can export a photo with your watermark applied. When you do, the App can save the image to your photo library or use the standard iOS share sheet, so you choose where the image goes (for example, saving to Photos, messaging, or email). Exporting and sharing only happen when you initiate them.

App Preferences

Your app settings (such as theme preference, your preferred defaults, and your subscription status) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Everyday App, as the developer of Add Watermark, does not collect, store, or transmit to our own servers:

• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Your photos, watermarks, logos, or exported images
• Location data
• Any of your saved templates or project data

We do not operate a server that receives your content. Please note that for free users, third-party advertising partners may collect certain device information as described in the "Advertising and Third-Party Services" section below.

Permissions

• Photo Library (Access): Required only when you choose an existing photo to watermark. iOS lets you grant access to selected photos or your full library. You can manage this permission in your device's Settings app.
• Photo Library (Save): Required only when you choose to save a watermarked image back to your photo library. You can manage this permission in your device's Settings app.
• App Tracking Transparency: For free users, the App may ask for permission to track you across other apps and websites for advertising purposes. This is optional — you can decline, and the App will continue to work. You can change your choice at any time in your device's Settings app.

Your Photos and Your Privacy

• The App only accesses a photo when you select one to watermark. It does not scan or read your photo library in the background.
• Your photos, logos, and watermarks remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them yourself.
• We have no access to your photo library or your saved templates at any time.

How We Use Your Information

All processing occurs locally on your device for the following purposes:

• Displaying the photo you select
• Applying and previewing the text or logo watermark you create
• Saving your watermark templates so you can reuse them later
• Rendering an image with your watermark for export when you request it
• Saving your app preferences and subscription status

Data Storage and Security

• Your templates and app preferences are stored locally on your device within the App's sandboxed storage.
• Data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including hardware encryption.
• Your photos and watermarks are never written to any server we control.
• Uninstalling the App deletes all locally stored templates, data, and settings from your device.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional premium subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and yearly) through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Premium features include an ad-free experience and the removal of the export watermark, among other unlocked features. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials.

Advertising and Third-Party Services

Add Watermark does not use any third-party analytics tools of our own. For free users, the App displays advertisements through the following advertising network:

• Google AdMob — see Google's Privacy Policy.

To serve and measure ads, this partner may collect certain device information, such as a device advertising identifier, general device and usage signals, and coarse information about your interaction with ads. Whether an advertising identifier is used for cross-app tracking depends on the choice you make in the App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline tracking, ads may still be shown on a non-personalized or limited basis. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience and are not shown these ads.

Children's Privacy

Add Watermark does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The App is a general utility tool that does not require any personal information to function. Please note that the advertising described above may not be directed at children; if you wish to avoid ads entirely, a premium subscription removes them.

Your Rights and Choices

Managing Your Data

• You control which photos the App can access, and you decide when to export or share anything.
• You can delete individual watermark templates from within the App at any time.
• You can change photo library and tracking permissions in your device's Settings app.
• Uninstalling the App removes all associated templates, data, and settings from your device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
